In our Orthopedic Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Department, graduate-level education is provided on the planning of physiotherapy programs and different treatment approaches in orthopedic and traumatology diseases in the courses in which experienced instructors take part in the field. It is aimed that graduates who complete this program will be able to use the competencies they have deepened at the level of expertise in their clinical and academic studies in the field of orthopedic physiotherapy and rehabilitation. Another important aim of our program is to train qualified scientists for doctoral programs. Fractures, tendon cuts, osteoarthritis, pes planus, scoliosis, tendinitis and muscle injuries can be counted as examples of the main cases trained in our department.
There are three laboratories used in educational research activities in our faculty. These laboratories are exercise laboratory, fall risk measurement and monitoring laboratory and electrotherapy laboratory. In our laboratories, there are many training and research equipment such as various exercise equipment, virtual reality system, Xbox Kinect system, monofilaments, treadmills and electrotherapy devices.
