Trakya University Faculty of Pharmacy was established on October 24, 2011. One of the graduate programs affiliated to the Faculty of Pharmacy, Department of Basic Pharmacy Sciences Master's Program with Thesis started to provide education with 5 students in 2013 and gave its first graduates in 2016.
Department of Basic Pharmacy Sciences Master's Program with Thesis consists of at least 7 (seven) lessons, a seminar lesson and thesis work, with not less than 21 (twenty-one) credits, in accordance with Trakya University Postgraduate Education Regulations. The advisors and thesis topics of the students studying in the Department of Basic Pharmacy Sciences Master's Program are determined according to the "Trakya University Graduate Education and Training Regulations" published in the Official Gazette dated 11.02.2018 and numbered 30329.
Department of Basic Pharmacy Sciences Master's Program with Thesis allows researchers to work interdisciplinary in research fields such as analytical chemistry, biochemistry, pharmaceutical botany, pharmaceutical microbiology, pharmacognosy, pharmacology, pharmaceutical chemistry and pharmaceutical toxicology, together with the basic pharmacy sciences contributes to science.
In the light of universal science principles, the Department of Basic Pharmacy Sciences Master's Program continues its education and training within the Institute of Health Sciences program, will contribute to the pharmacy profession and health sciences; in the priority of professional ethics, in the pursuit of innovative technologies, effective at every stage of research, development (R&D) and production (P&D) processes, aims to contribute to society by educating inquiring, disciplined and innovative researchers.
